The topic for this week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge is ‘From Above‘. I love taking photos from this perspective – here are a few of my favourites…
—
I borrowed my sister-in-law’s pocket camera for a hike up to the top of Whistlers Mountain in Jasper National Park, and took this photo of these beautiful flowers along the way.
—-
I took these next three photos in Canada’s arctic, near Auyuittuq National Park on Baffin Island.
—
This photo was taken from a much wider perspective – it’s Alexandra Falls on the Hay River in Canada’s Northwest Territories during river breakup…
—
Here are a couple more looking down on the Hay River during breakup…
—
Here’s one closer to home – one I took on a balloon ride in Edmonton, Alberta…
—
And finally, here’s one from an extremely wide perspective – it’s of some the mountains, lakes and glaciers of Alaska…
—
Hope you enjoyed my take on “From Above” – have a great week!
These pics are all gorgeous…can’t pick a favourite…although the one of the Alaskan scenery/mountains is breathtaking! Great post.
Thanks! 🙂
