A Ukulele Book for the Complete Beginner

Book2 Front CoverHey there everyone – my new book is FREE this weekend! (Sept 21-22)

Ukuleles have become very popular recently and no wonder. They’re fun to play and easy to learn. If you already play a guitar, you might consider getting a ukulele as a portable alternative to lugging a big instrument around. A ukulele is a particularly terrific first instrument for a child, or for any one taking up a musical instrument for the first time, because of its small size, soft (nylon) strings, and easy chords.

If you’ve been thinking about getting a ukulele for yourself, or for someone you love, then you’ll want to check this book out first;  it provides comprehensive advice on choosing a ukulele and details of the essential accessories needed.  It also provides instructions on how to play the ukulele, an easy ukulele chord chart, and song sheets for 10 easy tunes.

To celebrate the launch of this new book – I’m giving away the Kindle version for free this weekend – so please check it out!  It’s available on Amazon.com and all affiliates. (Just click on the Amazon.com link and it will provide you with a link to your own Amazon store at the top of the page.)

The free promotion starts just after midnight tonight, and ends at midnight on Sunday.

Would you like to get the print version instead? Join me at Words in the Park – Strathcona Library’s book fair on Saturday, Oct 19th, 2013. It’s a chance to meet local authors and get a head start on your Christmas shopping.  I’ll be there with print copies of all of my books and would love to see you there!

Here’s a glimpse inside the full-colour 8″x10″ print version…
